English of Core Text: Rabbi Zeira son of Rabbi Abbahu expounded: From where [do we learn] that one does not recite the blessing over the lamp on Motzoei Shabbat until one has benefited from its light? As it is written “And God saw the light that it was good” and afterward “and He separated.”
