Core Textתָּנוּ רַבָּנַן: אָדָם הָרִאשׁוֹן כְּפוּי טוֹבָה הָיָה, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר הָאִשָּׁה אֲשֶׁר נָתַתָּה עִמָּדִי הִיא נָתְנָה לִי מִן הָעֵץ וָאֹכֵל.
English of Core Text: The Sages taught: Adam the first man was an ingrate, as it is said “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree and I ate.”
