Core Text of Chazal

Core Text
וְהַבָּאִים — עַיֵּן לְעֵיל בַּפָּסוּקִים הַקּוֹדְמִים (ז׳ ב׳ וּז׳ ח׳).

English: “And those that came” — see the earlier treatments on 7:2 and 7:8 (the animals that came of their own accord, by which pure and impure were identified).

On the daf / in context: The verse re-uses the key term already expounded; TT therefore points back to the primary loci rather than repeating the full derasha.

Type of Learning

Custom (cross-reference to the primary derasha on the same language).

What Is Learned

The phrase “those that came” continues to refer to the animals that arrived of themselves, confirming the earlier distinction of pure and impure pairs.
