אֶת נִינְוֵה… — תָּנָא רַב יוֹסֵף: נִינְוֵה כְּמַשְׁמָעָהּ, רְחֹבוֹת עִיר זוֹ פְּרָת דְּמֵישָׁן, כָּלַח זוֹ פְּרָת דְּבוּרְסִיף.
English: Nineveh is as its plain meaning; Rehoboth-ir is Perat of Meishan; Calah is Perat of Borsif.
