Core Text

Core Text
English of Core Text: “Shall be circumcised for you” — from here, if the father does not circumcise, the court is obligated to circumcise him. “Every male” — to include the androgynous.
On the daf / in context: Responsibility cascades from father to court; the inclusive “kol zachar” brings the androgynous into the obligation while later verses limit Shabbat override.
