וְאֵ֗לֶּה שְׁמוֹת֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הַבָּאִ֖ים מִצְרָ֑יְמָה אֵ֣ת יַעֲקֹ֔ב אִ֥ישׁ וּבֵית֖וֹ בָּֽאוּ׃

These are the names of the sons of Israel who came to Egypt with Jacob, each coming with his household:

English: “And these are the names” — \ldots even though they had died, they remain present before Him.

On the midrash / in context: The re-listing of the names already given in Bereishis is midrashically taken as a sign of divine affection and of the continued identity of the people.
