Core Text

ותקרא שמו משה —\ldots ראתה אותו מהול, אמרה מילדי העברים זה.

English: “And she called his name Moshe” — \ldots she saw that he was circumcised and said, “This is one of the children of the Hebrews.”

On the midrash / in context: Although TT has units nearby, 2:10 itself is a SKIP; the naming and the recognition of his Hebrew origin are classic midrashic foci.
