וְדִבֶּר־ה֥וּא לְךָ֖ אֶל־הָעָ֑ם וְהָ֤יָה הוּא֙ יִֽהְיֶה־לְּךָ֣ לְפֶ֔ה וְאַתָּ֖ה תִּֽהְיֶה־לּ֥וֹ לֵֽאלֹהִֽים׃

and he shall speak for you to the people. Thus he shall serve as your spokesman, with you playing the role of Godeplaying the role of God Cf. 7.1. to him.

והיה הוא יהיה לך לפה —\ldots כשם שאתה נביא כך הוא נביא.

English: “And he shall be for you a mouth” — \ldots just as you are a prophet, so he is a prophet.

On the midrash / in context: Aharon’s role is elevated beyond mere interpreter; the midrash grants him prophetic status alongside Moshe.
