וָאֵרָ֗א אֶל־אַבְרָהָ֛ם אֶל־יִצְחָ֥ק וְאֶֽל־יַעֲקֹ֖ב בְּאֵ֣ל שַׁדָּ֑י וּשְׁמִ֣י ה׳ לֹ֥א נוֹדַ֖עְתִּי לָהֶֽם׃

And I appeared to Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Yaakov as El Shaddai, but by My name Hashem I was not known to them.

טעם שהזכירם בפרטות, לצד שכל אחד יש בו בחינה מעולה. אל אברהם — שהכיר את בוראו תחילה מבלי שיקדים אליו דבר ממנו יתברך. אל יצחק — שפשט צווארו על גבי המזבח.

English: The reason G-d listed each patriarch by name rather than grouping them is that His relationship with each was based on something unique. Avraham recognised his Creator without prior human guidance. Yitzchak submitted without question and stretched out his neck on the altar.

On the commentary / in context: Ohr HaChaim reads the separate naming as a signal that each of the three patriarchs brought a distinct quality that made the appearance of “El Shaddai” meaningful in a different way.
