ה֥וּא אַהֲרֹ֖ן וּמֹשֶׁ֑ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר אָמַ֤ר יְהֹוָה֙ לָהֶ֔ם הוֹצִ֜יאוּ אֶת־בְּנֵ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרַ֖יִם עַל־צִבְאֹתָֽם׃

It is the same Aaron and Moses to whom GOD said, “Bring forth the Israelites from the land of Egypt, troop by troop.”

הוא אהרן ומשה — הם בצדקתם מתחילתם ועד סופם.

English: “That is Aharon and Moshe” — they remained in their righteousness from their beginning until their end.

On the daf / in context: The demonstrative “hu” is read as affirming consistent character throughout their lives.

Chazal teach that Aharon and Moshe’s righteousness was constant from beginning to end.
