The Complete Passuk

וַיֵּצֵ֥א מֹשֶׁ֛ה וְאַהֲרֹ֖ן מֵעִ֣ם פַּרְעֹ֑ה וַיִּצְעַ֤ק מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־יְהֹוָ֔ה עַל־דְּבַ֥ר הַֽצְפַרְדְּעִ֖ים אֲשֶׁר־שָׂ֥ם לְפַרְעֹֽה׃

Then Moses and Aaron left Pharaoh’s presence, and Moses cried out to GOD in the matter of the frogs that had been inflicted upon Pharaoh.

English: “Entreat Hashem” — \ldots he admitted that there is a God.

On the midrash / in context: The request for intercession is itself a temporary acknowledgment after the first two plagues.

Chazal read Pharaoh’s plea as a momentary admission of divine power.
