English: He shall bring his guilt-offering to Hashem for his sin… a female from the flock, a sheep or a goat, as a chatat.
First tier of the sliding scale — one who can afford an animal brings a female of the flock.
If means allow, the oleh ve-yored brings a female sheep or goat as a chatat. The kohen effects kapparah from that chatat.
