“Any fat of ox, sheep, or goat you shall not eat” — the prohibition of the sacrificial fat of a pure animal.

After completing the rules of eating shelamim while tamei, the Torah turns to the general prohibition of chelev. The verse is the primary source for the lav against eating the fat of cattle, sheep, and goats.
