צַ֚ו אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וִֽישַׁלְּחוּ֙ מִן־הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה כׇּל־צָר֖וּעַ וְכׇל־זָ֑ב וְכֹ֖ל טָמֵ֥א לָנָֽפֶשׁ׃

Instruct the Israelites to remove from camp anyone with an eruption or a dischargeaan eruption or a discharge See Leviticus chapters 13 and 15, respectively. and anyone defiled by a corpse.

וישלחו מן המחנה — תניא, רבי יוסי אומר: לא מקומו של אדם מכבד את האדם אלא האדם מכבד את מקומו.

English: “And they shall send from the camp” — it was taught: R’ Yosei says: It is not a person’s place that honors him, but the person who honors his place.

On the daf / in context: The midrash uses the expulsion of the impure from the camp to teach that dignity attaches to the person who respects the sanctity of the place.
