על נפש מת לא יבא —\ldots אפילו לקרוביו.

English: “He shall not come near a dead body” — \ldots even for his relatives.

On the midrash / in context: Ohr HaChaim emphasizes that the nazir’s separation from death is total; the holiness he has taken upon himself cannot coexist with the impurity of a corpse, even of the closest kin.
