English: “Go up to the top of the Pisgah… and see with your eyes” — they said: the Holy One, blessed be He, showed him the whole Land of Israel and all that was destined to occur in it.
In context: Although Moshe was denied physical entry, he was granted a prophetic survey of the Land and its future. The vision is both a partial fulfillment of his request and a final act of divine intimacy.
