TT lemma: השמים ושמי השמים.
English: It was taught: R’ Yehudah said: There are two firmaments, as it is said, “Behold, to Hashem your God belong the heavens and the heavens of the heavens.” This opposes Resh Lakish’s view of seven firmaments — or they do not disagree: one counts the heavens in general (two), the other in detail (seven).
