וְחָרָ֨ה אַף־יְהֹוָ֜ה בָּכֶ֗ם וְעָצַ֤ר אֶת־הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ וְלֹֽא־יִהְיֶ֣ה מָטָ֔ר וְהָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה לֹ֥א תִתֵּ֖ן אֶת־יְבוּלָ֑הּ וַאֲבַדְתֶּ֣ם מְהֵרָ֗ה מֵעַל֙ הָאָ֣רֶץ הַטֹּבָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה נֹתֵ֥ן לָכֶֽם׃

For GOD’s anger will flare up against you, shutting up the skies so that there will be no rain and the ground will not yield its produce; and you will soon perish from the good land that GOD is assigning to you.

ואבדתם מהרה. תניא, מפני מה קורין שלש פרשיות אלו בכל יום, א"ר לוי, מפני שעשרת הדברות כלולות בהן, לא תרצח – ואבדתם מהרה, מאן דקטיל מתקטיל

English: It was taught: Why do we recite these three paragraphs every day? Rabbi Levi said: Because the Ten Commandments are included in them. “You shall not murder” — “and you will perish quickly”: one who kills is killed.
