Type of Learning

Custom (A privilege of the righteous derived from the blessing of secure dwelling.)

What Is Learned

The phrase “he shall dwell securely upon Him” is taken as an indication that the body of Binyamin was preserved from decay. The same privilege is noted for certain other righteous figures. The verse therefore links the blessing of security with the integrity of the body even after death.
