וַיִּבֶן֩ יְהֹוָ֨ה אֱלֹהִ֧ים ׀ אֶֽת־הַצֵּלָ֛ע אֲשֶׁר־לָקַ֥ח מִן־הָֽאָדָ֖ם לְאִשָּׁ֑ה וַיְבִאֶ֖הָ אֶל־הָֽאָדָֽם׃

Core Textאָמַר רַב חִסְדָּא: מַאי דִּכְתִיב וַיִּבֶן ה׳ אֶת הַצֵּלָע — מְלַמֵּד שֶׁנָּתַן הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא בִּינָה יְתֵירָה בָּאִשָּׁה יוֹתֵר מִבָּאִישׁ.

English of Core Text: Rav Chisda said: What is the meaning of “and the Lord built the side”? This teaches that the Holy One, blessed be He, gave extra understanding (binah) to the woman more than to the man.
