Parashas Shemos
וַתִּפְתַּח֙ וַתִּרְאֵ֣הוּ אֶת־הַיֶּ֔לֶד וְהִנֵּה־נַ֖עַר בֹּכֶ֑ה וַתַּחְמֹ֣ל עָלָ֔יו וַתֹּ֕אמֶר מִיַּלְדֵ֥י הָֽעִבְרִ֖ים זֶֽה׃
When she opened it, she saw that it was a child, a boy crying. She took pity on it and said, “This must be a Hebrew child.”
Torah Temimah points to R’ Yosei bar Chanina — Sotah 12b (verified).
ותראהו את הילד — ותרא מבעי ליה. א״ר יוסי בר חנינא: שראתה שכינה עמו.
English: “And she saw him, the child” — it should have said simply “and she saw.” R’ Yosei bar Chanina said: She saw the Shechinah with him.
Custom
Chazal teach that Bas Pharaoh perceived the Shechinah accompanying Moshe in the ark.
