Core Text of Chazal

Core Text

English: “Take (heiliichi) this child” — R’ Chama bar Chanina said: She prophesied without knowing what she prophesied: heiliichi — behold, he is yours (ha shelachi).

On the daf / in context: Bas Pharaoh’s wording is midrashically heard as an unintended declaration that the child already belongs to Yocheved.
