English: “And the remainder” — from when may the remnants be eaten? From when the fistful has been offered.
Sequence from the order of the verses — first “the kohen shall burn,” then “and the remainder.”
The leftover flour of the minchah may be eaten by the kohanim only after the kometz has been burned on the altar, not merely after it was taken.
