English: He shall lean his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.

The owner performs semichah (leaning) on the shelamim, then it is slaughtered at the entrance of the Ohel Moed. The kohanim then dash the blood around the altar.
