English: He shall lean his hand on the head of the chatat and slaughter the chatat in the place of the burnt-offering.
Same location rule as for the nasi — north of the altar.
The owner performs semichah; the animal is slaughtered in the place of the olah. Blood service and chelev follow outer-chatat procedure.
