English: And if he brings a sheep as his offering for a chatat, he shall bring a female without blemish.
Alternative animal for the same chatat — sheep or goat, both female for the ordinary person.
The individual may bring a female sheep (kivsah) instead of a female goat. The procedure of blood and chelev is the same; the Torah spells out the sheep case separately because of the fat-tail detail.
