English: And he shall sprinkle of the blood seven times before Hashem, in front of the veil of the Holy.
Fixed count of haza’ot — seven sprinklings are indispensable.
The anointed kohen dips his finger in the blood and sprinkles seven times toward the parochet of the Kodesh. These inner sprinklings define this as a “chatat penimit.”
