וּמְשַׁלֵּ֧ם לְשֹׂנְאָ֛יו אֶל־פָּנָ֖יו לְהַאֲבִיד֑וֹ לֹ֤א יְאַחֵר֙ לְשֹׂ֣נְא֔וֹ אֶל־פָּנָ֖יו יְשַׁלֶּם־לֽוֹ׃

And He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them; He will not delay with one who hates Him, to his face He will repay him.

וּמְשַׁלֵּם לְשֹׂנְאָיו אֶל־פָּנָיו — בְּחַיָּיו מְשַׁלֵּם לוֹ גְּמוּלוֹ הַטּוֹב כְּדֵי לְהַאֲבִידוֹ מִן הָעוֹלָם הַבָּא.

English: “And He repays those who hate Him to their face” — in his lifetime He repays him his good reward, in order to destroy him from the World to Come.

In context: The phrase “el panav” is read as immediate, this-world payment of any merit the wicked possess, so that nothing remains for them in the next world.
