ואכלת ושבעת וברכת. רבי זעירא בשם ר' ירמיה אומר, ספק בירך על מזונו ספק לא בירך צריך לברך, דכתיב ואכלת ושבעת וברכת ר"ל וכיון דברכת המזון דאורייתא ממילא הוי ככל ספק דאורייתא לחומרא, ועיין ברמב"ם פ"ב הי"ד מברכות שהביא דין זה ונו"כ לא העירו המקור מירושלמי זה.
English: R’ Zeira in the name of R’ Yirmeyah says: If one is in doubt whether he recited the blessing over his food or not, he must bless — as it is written “you shall eat and be satisfied and bless.” Because Birkat HaMazon is from the Torah, a doubt is resolved stringently.
