English: It was taught: Rabbi Shimon says: From where do we know that a person should not say “to Hashem — an olah,” “to Hashem — a mincha,” “to Hashem — a todah,” “to Hashem — shelamim,” but rather “an olah to Hashem,” “a mincha to Hashem,” “a todah to Hashem,” “shelamim to Hashem”? As it is stated: “an offering to Hashem.”
Custom (order of the words) — the sequence in the passuk teaches the proper verbal order when designating an offering (korban before the Divine Name).
When stating an offering one should name the korban first and the Divine Name second, following the order in the passuk (“korban la-Hashem”), so that the Name is not uttered before the offering is specified.
