וֶֽהֱבִיאָ֗הּ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י אַהֲרֹן֮ הַכֹּהֲנִים֒ וְקָמַ֣ץ מִשָּׁם֩ מְלֹ֨א קֻמְצ֜וֹ מִסָּלְתָּ֣הּ וּמִשַּׁמְנָ֗הּ עַ֚ל כָּל־לְבֹ֣נָתָ֔הּ וְהִקְטִ֣יר הַכֹּהֵ֗ן אֶת־אַזְכָּרָתָהּ֙ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה אִשֵּׁ֛ה רֵ֥יחַ נִיחֹ֖חַ לַיהֹוָֽה׃

מְלֹא קֻמְצוֹ — וְלַהֲלָן הוּא אוֹמֵר (צו) וְהֵרִים מִמֶּנּוּ בְּקֻמְצוֹ… חוֹפֶה שָׁלֹשׁ אֶצְבְּעוֹתָיו עַל פַּס יָדוֹ וְקוֹמֵץ.
English: “His full handful (melo kumtzo)” — and elsewhere it says (Tzav) “he shall separate from it with his handful”… he covers his three middle fingers over the palm of his hand and scoops.
On the daf / in context: Resolves “full handful” vs “in his handful”: not overflowing, not fingertips only — three middle fingers closed over the palm. The Gemara notes this is among the most difficult services in the Temple.
