Core Text
״וְהֵבֵאתָ״ — לְרַבּוֹת מִנְחַת הָעֹמֶר וּמִנְחַת סוֹטָה לַהַגָּשָׁה.
English: “And you shall bring” — to include the omer mincha and the sotah mincha in the requirement of hagashah (bringing near the altar).
On the daf / in context: R’ Shimon: the shared language of bringing in 2:8 and in the omer / sotah passages links those obligatory menachos to the same hagashah requirement as a freewill mincha.
Type of Learning
R’ Yishmael #2 / Eliezer #7 (gezeirah shavah) — shared “bring” language.
What Is Learned
Omer and sotah meal-offerings also require hagashah to the altar, like a voluntary mincha.
