EXTRA 2 — Vayikra 3:17 · Sifra

חֻקַּ֥ת עוֹלָ֛ם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶ֖ם בְּכֹ֣ל מוֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶ֑ם כָּל־חֵלֶב וְכָל־דָּ֖ם לֹ֥א תֹאכֵֽלוּ׃

Sifra on the perpetual ban.

Core Text
״חֻקַּת עוֹלָם… בְּכֹל מוֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶם״ — נוֹהֵג בָּאָרֶץ וּבְחוּצָה לָאָרֶץ; ״כָּל חֵלֶב וְכָל דָּם״ — אִסּוּרָם לְדוֹרוֹת.

English: “An everlasting statute… in all your dwellings” — applies in the Land and outside it; “all fat and all blood” — their prohibition is for all generations.

In Sifra: The blood-and-fat ban is not limited to Temple times or to Eretz Yisrael; it is a permanent, location-independent prohibition.
